New Features:
- We added the ability for members to use the Stock Photo Library Add-On to add an image to a member chat when the Private Member Chat Add-On is active on a site.
- We released the Block Traffic by Country Add-On. In order to use this new feature, navigate to the Admin >> Settings >> General Settings >> Localization Tab. Click here for more information.
- We created a new Advanced Setting called "First and Last Name Order in Profile Page URL". This new setting allows Site Admins to choose the order of the member's name in the Profile Page URL, either "First Name First" (default) or "Last Name First".
- We created a new Email Template called "reply-contact-us". This new email template will load the content of a Form Inquiry when using the "Reply" button on the Form Inquiries page in the Admin.
- We created a new tab in the Domain Manager page called "Website Resources". Site Admins can consult the website's bandwidth, disk space, dailly email transactions and member limit from this page.
We also updated the Admin area to display an alert badge in the header if a site is a bout to reach or has surpassed one of the account's limits. - We created a new Spam Form Protector Add-On Setting called "Block Disposable Email Addresses". This keyword list will protect forms from being submitted with email addresses from disposable email account hosts, which help prevent SPAM. To use this new feature, navigate to the Admin >> Settings >> General Settings >> Integrations Tab >> Block Spam Keywords.
- We created a new Post Type Setting called "Enable Search Results Cache". Enabling this setting will activate the new search results cache functionality which will reduce search result page load times and increase page speed scores on third-party tools like GTMetrix and Google PageSpeed Insights.
To use this new setting, navigate to the Admin >> Edit Post Setting >> Member Listing >> Search Results Design tab >> Additional Settings.
Note: This update is currently only available for Member Listings. Support for other Post Types will be released in a future update.
Enhancements / Fixes:
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Select Services" field from working properly when it is set to be "required", and the Top Category field is present in the same form.
- We improved the security of some Banner Ad widgets on the frontend of sites.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Qualifying Recipients" on the Newsletter Summary modal in the Admin from displaying the correct number of recipients in some cases.
- We deprecated the "Create New Admin" feature on the Admin Accounts page in the Admin. Moving forward Admin Accounts can be created and/or invited to a site by using the "Invite Admin via Email" option.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the Service Areas data of members from being sent to the Webhook endpoint when syncing a Smart List to a Webhook in some cases.
- We fixed an issue with the Search Members page in the Admin which was preventing the system from returning results when performing a search that contained special characters in some cases,
- We fixed an issue which was causing the system to delete the member's filename after updating the member via the API.
- We updated the the Member Reviews overall rating average to round to the nearest tenth of a star. EG: 4.1 instead of 4.
- We fixed an issue with the "Sync Members with Google Maps" functionality in the Admin when a Country, Latitude, and Longitude was the only data available for the member.
- We optimized how data is logged for the "Send Newsletter" functionality to increase performance and reduce the resources required to store the data.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from sending the Profile Photo URL of a member when syncing a member Smart List to a Webhook.
- We fixed an issue which was causing the system to display the wrong Membership Plan information in the member's account sidebar on mobile devices when visiting another member profile page in some cases.
- We fixed an issue which was causing the member's name on the Member Account Details page in the Admin to overflow out of its intended display area in some cases.
- The Global Website Search results are now compatible with the "Order Results By" Post Type Setting.
- We updated the HTML used for the "Embeddable Member Badge" in the Member Dashboard to use a "border" style rather than a "border" attribute.
- We updated the "Post URL Structure" Advanced Setting to add an option to include the post's category in the post's URL.
- The "Listing – Password Retrieval" form is now editable on the Form Manage page in the Admin.
- We added Serbian and Filipino Default Website Language options in the General Settings in the Admin.
- We updated the Email Templates in order to make them compatible with the "Text Direction" Advanced Setting.
- The "Account Billing Address Update" form is now editable on the Form Manager page in the Admin.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the Text Label search filter from working properly on the Text Labels page in the Admin in some cases.
- Category search results pages for Posts will now use their own self-referential canonical URL rather than using the default search results page URL as their canonical URL. This allows for search engines to see these category search results pages as separate from the default search results page for the Post Type.
- We updated the Google Maps API Integration in order to reduce the amount of requests sent to Google when the "Front-End Optimization: Only Load Google Maps when Requested by User" is deactivated and the "Detect Visitor Location" is enabled.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Reply Sent" label from showing on the Form Inquiries page in the Admin after replying to a form inquiry in some cases.
- We fixed an issue which was causing the "Search Members" page in the Admin to show that 1 result was being returned when more than 1 result was returned when searching for members by category.
- We updated the Community Comments Add-On in order to make the post comment's date compatible with the "Date Format" General Setting.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Show Categories with No Members" setting from working properly in some search module widgets.
- We fixed an issue with the Smart List functionality which was preventing the system from sending a Financial Smart List to a webhook endpoint in some cases.
- We fixed an issue with the Member Quick Edit Form which was causing the system to remove the "Customize Listing URL" data after updating a member's Status in some cases.
- We fixed an issue which was preventing the Canonical URL from working properly when serving Membership Plan Search Results pages in some cases.
- We added a new CSS Class called "verfied_member_results". This CSS class can be used to target the "verified" members on member search result pages.
- In all, over 60 feature enhancements and software updates were released this month.
