Do I have to buy AI credits?

No. Every Brilliant Directories website includes 30 free AI credits every month, and they're yours to use however you like. Credit packs are here for the sites that want more than that.

What can I use AI credits for?

Anything BD Butler can do on your website, which is close to anything you would hand to a developer, designer, writer or assistant. Write content, build pages and widgets, change your design, clean up and categorize member data, write outreach campaigns, or ask questions about your revenue and members. There's no fixed feature list to work through.

Do my 30 free monthly credits roll over?

Your 30 plan credits reset on the first day of each month and start fresh, so they don't carry forward. Purchased credits work differently — they stay in your account until you use them.

Which credits get used first?

Your free monthly credits are always used first. Purchased credits are only drawn on once the monthly 30 are gone, so a pack you buy today can sit untouched for months.

Do scheduled Routines use credits automatically?

Yes. A Routine spends 2 credits for every post it publishes, on whatever schedule you set. You choose how often it runs and how many posts it creates each time, and you can pause or stop a Routine whenever you like.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every credit pack is a one-time purchase at a one-time price. There's no monthly fee, no contract and nothing to cancel. Buy another pack whenever you'd like more.

How do the bonus credits work?

Packs of 1,000 credits and up include extra credits on top at no additional cost. Buy the 1,000-credit pack for $100 and 1,250 credits land in your account. The 10,000-credit pack comes with 5,000 bonus credits — 15,000 in total.

What happens when I run out?

Your website and everything on it keeps running exactly as normal. Only the AI tasks pause until your credits reset on the 1st or you add another pack, which takes about a minute.

Can I buy credits more than once?

Yes, as often as you like. Each purchase is added to your existing balance, so credits from an earlier pack aren't lost when you buy another.
